Jamaican Ackee & Dumplings with Seasoned Greens:
This is a one of a kind dish.  It is something so authentic you might only ever have the chance to experience it if you had a close Jamaican friend that likes to cook.  Ackee is such a unique tasting food, it's difficult to even compare it to anything, you just have to try it for yourself!  This dish is often eaten as a savory breakfast option in Jamaica, but is also good for lunch and dinner.  Vegans sometimes struggle with savory breakfast options, but this one certainly fits the bill.  In this class, I also teach how to cook Caribbean sautéed spinach which is great for those who struggle to get enough greens, it's delicious!

Vegan Mac & Cheese:
This one is especially for the "I could never go vegan, because I couldn't give up cheese" people.  Most people are often confused how this mac & cheese doesn't contain actual dairy.  Deliciously cheese-y recipes like these are pivotal to your plant-based health journey.

Curry Burgers with Date-Tamarind Chutney:
Curry, chutney, and tomatoes are just a match made in heaven.  This recipe is as healthy as it is delicious.  I will have healthy wraps and burger buns available for lunch.

Vegan Cinnabuns:
Dessert time!  I bet you never thought that you would have Cinnabon's again on a vegan diet, much less Cinnabon's that taste this good!  I've been told by vegans and non-vegans alike that these buns are even better than Cinnabon's!  For this class I will be teaching how to make these chewy, sweet, & warming cinnamon rolls topped with a cashew icing that you won't be able to get enough of.

Jamaican Stew Peas, Rice & Cabbage:
Jamaican cuisine was instrumental in my transition to a plant-based diet, which is why I chose to bring some of my favorite Jamaican dishes to my cooking classes.  This dish is delicious, comforting, inexpensive, and oil-free.  This class also includes a demo on how to properly cook brown rice so that it is soft and moist.  I recently taught this dish at St. Luke's hospital for a class of 15 and it was a big hit!
