Mango Pineapple Apple Green Smoothie

 
 

Mango pineapple apple, say that 10 times fast!  Green smoothies are just so packed with energy and nutrients I have one everyday!  Simple flavor combinations are always best, and that's what this recipe is all about.

For the apple juice or cider, try to find a brand that does not have any added sugars or preservatives.  The highest quality juices typically do not have all of the natural fiber strained out and you should notice some solids settling in the bottom of the bottle.  I typically find these at farmer's markets or in the health section at grocery stores.

Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup frozen mangoes
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 big handfuls spinach
  • 1 zucchini
  • Apple cider or apple juice

Directions

  1. Add mangoes, pineapples, spinach, zucchini to blender
  2. Add apple cider and blend until your smoothie gets to the consistency of a milkshake.  This will vary depending on how powerful your blender is!
