How to - Make Fresh Juice with a Blender

Did you know that you can make juice with a blender?  I have owned a beautiful centrifugal juicer by Breville for about 3 years but I never use it.  Why?  It's big, bulky, heavy, and it has too many parts to clean.  It's inconvenient!  So, one day when I was making homemade almond milk it hit me.  I could use this same process to make juices!  So I tried it, and the result was fantastic.  Guess what?  I actually got a little more juice from my oranges too than my juicer could.

Directions

1. Peel and rinse your fruit/vegetables, then add them to a blender. For my orange juice, I used 4 navel oranges.

2. Briefly blend the mixture until it turns to "mush"

3. Place your nut milk bag over a container and pour the contents of your blender into it then squeeze!  The juice should come out fairly easily.

That's all folks!  This process takes me all but a few minutes and then all that you need to do is rinse out your blender and nut milk bag.  A powerful blender is really the most versatile kitchen appliance you could ever buy, and well worth the investment for a good one. I use mine everyday!  Fresh squeezed orange juice is so delicious, I recommend that you start there.  After that, the world is yours!  Tell me about any delicious fruit and flavor combinations that you come up with.  Chat with me on Instagram, click here or anywhere below to get to my page.
